Reiters
syndrome, though not so popularly known is a kind of arthritis that has severe
effects in the human joint noticeable the spine. It normally leads to swelling,
redness and incessant pain in the affected region of the human joints. Causes. It
has been discovered by scientist who had had series of research concerning the
condition that the causes of reiters syndrome is as a result of bacteria in the
host. Such deadly organisms gets into their host as a result of venereal disease
of some sort mostly contacted through sexual intercourse. Also a person already
injected with the HIV virus are likely to experience the reiters syndrome. Symptoms. Like
every other infections that appears to be recognized by the presence of certain
symptoms. Reiters syndrome also have symptoms among which from time to time
are, skin rashes, stiffness in the joint and some times its brings about loss
in weight. Inflammation of the urethra may occur in patient of reiters syndrome
for about 7 to 14 days after sex. A patient of this kind of arthritis, if not
treated may experience a permanent damage in the joint of the affected region. Treatment.
Treatment
of Reiters syndrome usually takes the form of continuous therapies which is meant
to do away with emanating symptoms. Although there are drugs that may serve
as pain reliever and temporal control of and relief of stiffness in the joint,
but in extreme situation of the disease, it may require surgery to get a close
to permanent treatment.
